Lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry, Genetics and Microbiology at the University of Pretoria, her investigation into malaria parasite biology aims to advance the discovery of new antimalarial drugs. She is affiliated with the GC ADDA project on Antimalarial Drug Discovery in Africa.
